Data Protection Notice — PIPA 2016 (Bermuda)

Under the Personal Information Protection Act 2016 (PIPA) of Bermuda, we are required to inform you how your personal information is collected, used, and stored.

• Information collected (name, email, team details) is used solely to provide the Evolution Football Intelligence platform service.
• Player data you enter is stored locally in your browser and, if enabled, backed up to your personal Dropbox.
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent.
• You have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information at any time.
• Data is retained for the duration of your active subscription. You may request full data deletion by contacting us.

⚠️ Safeguarding Declaration — Required

This platform collects sensitive personal data about athletes, who may include individuals under the age of 18. As the registered coach you are the data controller for your squad.

• You must ensure that parental or guardian consent has been obtained for all players under 18 before collecting their data through this platform.
• Psychological and behavioural data (confidence ratings, anxiety markers, leadership flags) must be used solely for player development — never for selection punishment or public disclosure.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your account with unauthorised individuals.
• All data access and use must comply with your club's safeguarding policy and applicable child protection legislation.

🧠 Psychological & Biometric Data — Appropriate Use

Evolution Football Intelligence records cognitive and psychophysiological data including confidence ratings, behavioural flags, HRV, GPS load, and RPE scores. This data is not a clinical or medical assessment.

• This platform is a coaching support tool, not a diagnostic or clinical instrument. It does not replace qualified psychological or medical assessment.
• Behavioural markers (anxiety, indiscipline, hands-up) indicate observable moments during training — they are not clinical diagnoses.
• If data suggests a player may need professional support, refer to a qualified sport psychologist, counsellor, or medical professional.
• Data must never be used to stigmatise, label, or disadvantage a player based on their psychological profile.

All your squad data is stored in your browser's local storage. To protect it from loss (browser clears, device changes, or cache wipes) you must connect a free Dropbox account as your first action after signing in.
